The Third Annual Chesterfield Wine & Jazz Festival was an overwhelming success! Over 7,000 people came for a relaxing afternoon and evening of music, food and of course, wine! Festival goers spread out of the grass, listened to music from beloved local acts, shopped amongst local artisan vendors, and enjoyed a variety of international cuisine that paired perfectly with a full-flavored glass of Missouri wine. 3rd Annual Chesterfield Wine & Jazz Festival

The Third Annual Chesterfield Wine & Jazz Festival, presented by Morgan Stanley, returns to the Chesterfield Amphitheater on Saturday, June 27th from 3pm to 10pm. This free festival celebrates St. Louis' rich jazz history and showcases the best in Contemporary, Straight-Ahead and Fusion Jazz. Featured artists include charming crooner Tony Viviano, the lovely Turkish vocalist Feyza Eren, bass legend Bob Deboo, in addition to LaDeDa clients Bach to the Future and Ptah Williams. 

Headliner Eric Person, who will be accompanied by Ptah Williams, Darrell Mixon and Gary Sykes of Meta-Four, discovered his passion for jazz at seven years old. A high school prodigy and student of the St. Louis Conservatory of Music. Person then moved to New York, where he's had a lucrative career on the New York and international jazz scene. Person is among the finest saxophone players of our generation, appearing on over 30 recordings and touring with a wide range of artists. His wealth of performance experience will make this homecoming performance a must-see!

The festival also features a variety of quality, full-flavored wine from Missouri Weinstrasse, America's first wine trail. The four vineyards of Augusta Winery, Balducci Vineyards, Montelle Winery and Sugar Creek Winery will be providing their locally grown and produced wine for festival goers. A variety of beers will also be available at the bars to suit every taste. For the main course, jazz lovers can fill their plate with a delicious array of international cuisine.

In between meals and music, festival goers can shop with area artisans, who will share their painted wine glasses, jewelry, hand-blown glass products and unique canvas paintings. In addition, guests can browse area boutique Paper Dolls chic clothing and jewelry, smoke a cigar from Smoking Hot Cigars, and even create their own canvas at Pinot's Pallete's art booth. There will be plenty of opportunities for unique souvenirs from the festival. The evening will end with a grand fireworks display, making the event a great place to bring the entire family.

The Stanley Clarke Benefit Concert

Legendary bassist, Stanley Clarke returns to St. Louis with his band on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 to perform at The Pageant (6161 Delmar Blvd.). Clarke is best known for helping to bring bass to the forefront of Jazz ensembles. He is credited for taking influences of Jazz and Rock and forming what is now called, Jazz-Fusion. Opening for the Grammy winner is local, chart-topping band, Bach to the Future

Presented by Silverman Music, the concert is a benefit to help support the non-profit adoption agency, Dillon International. Since its founding in 1972, Dillon International, Inc., a non‐profit international adoption and humanitarian aid agency, has placed more than 6,200 children around the world with loving families throughout the USA, many who are growing up in St. Louis. The agency also provides post‐adoption services, such as heritage camps and birth land tours. Your sponsorship will help us continue our work for families and children around the world. Dillon depends on donations which make up more than 57% of the agency’s annual revenue. Through December 31st, all donations made to Dillon will be matched ($1 for $1) by the Anne and Henry Zarrow Foundation.

U-City Jazz Festival

The U-City Jazz Festival is in its 4th year. This FREE event drew an attendance of over 8,000 last year. The U-City Jazz Festival is partnering with Fair U-City for the second year, featuring carnival rides and delicious food and drinks! The U-City Jazz Festival is celebrating U-City's great Jazz heritage in beautiful Heman Park. The festival headliners are Pieces of a Dream from Philly and will be featuring performances from: Bach to the Future, Anthony Wiggins, Two Times True, Tony Viviano and Jazz St. Louis All-Stars. The Eco Music Festival

 The Eco Music Festival is an environmentally friendly event featuring multi-Grammy nominated Jazz Fusion band, Spyro Gyra and saxophonist Mindi Abair on Saturday, August 30th from 2 pm to 10 pm in the beautiful natural surroundings at the Chesterfield Amphitheater. Also on the line-up are St. Louis' own, Tim Cunningham and Bach to the Future.

The festival features an eco-educational vendor village, delicious food and drinks from local restaurants, including a specialty cocktail made with organic ingredients from Unique Syrups.

Spyro Gyra, known for their hit singles "Morning Dance" and "Shaker Song" are celebrating their 40th anniversary, and the band just returned from a European tour. Their unique sound combines elements of Jazz, Pop, Latin and R&B. The band has made over two-dozen albums, many of them bestsellers on the Jazz charts. Spyro Gyra's most recent album, The Rhinebeck Sessions, was released last year.

Saxophonist, Mindi Abair is no stranger on Billboard's Jazz chart. Her newest album, Wild Heart debuted at number one on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz chart when it was released earlier this year. She has collaborated with numerous Jazz, Blues and Pop performers including Bobby Lyte, Jonathan Butler, Trombone Shorty, Booker T. Jones, Keb' Mo', Teena Marie, Backstreet Boys, Duran Duran, Aerosmith and more. She even sat in with Paul Schaffer on The Late Show with David Letterman this past July.

The 2nd Annual Chesterfield Wine & Jazz Festival presented by Morgan Stanley returns to the Chesterfield Amphitheater (631 Veterans Drive) on Saturday, June 28th from 3 pm to 10 pm.  And this year the festival is free to attend!

The Chesterfield Wine & Jazz Festival recognizes St. Louis as the true birthplace of Jazz while showcasing the best in Contemporary, Straight-Ahead and Fusion Jazz.  The Midwest's finest outdoor Jazz festival offers an exciting lineup of many of our own world-class Jazz performers such as; Christopher Braig and Erika Johnson Quintet, Ptah Williams performing, A Tribute to Chick Corea, Freddie Washington, featuring Maurice Carnes, as well as the chart-topping Classical Jazz artists, Bach to the Future featuring special guest and Grammy winner, Eric Marienthal.  Closing out the festival at 9pm is Grammy Award winning headlining artists, The Yellowjackets.
