3rd Annual Chesterfield Wine & Jazz Festival

The Third Annual Chesterfield Wine & Jazz Festival, presented by Morgan Stanley, returns to the Chesterfield Amphitheater on Saturday, June 27th from 3pm to 10pm. This free festival celebrates St. Louis' rich jazz history and showcases the best in Contemporary, Straight-Ahead and Fusion Jazz. Featured artists include charming crooner Tony Viviano, the lovely Turkish vocalist Feyza Eren, bass legend Bob Deboo, in addition to LaDeDa clients Bach to the Future and Ptah Williams.

Headliner Eric Person, who will be accompanied by Ptah Williams, Darrell Mixon and Gary Sykes of Meta-Four, discovered his passion for jazz at seven years old. A high school prodigy and student of the St. Louis Conservatory of Music. Person then moved to New York, where he's had a lucrative career on the New York and international jazz scene. Person is among the finest saxophone players of our generation, appearing on over 30 recordings and touring with a wide range of artists. His wealth of performance experience will make this homecoming performance a must-see!

The festival also features a variety of quality, full-flavored wine from Missouri Weinstrasse, America's first wine trail. The four vineyards of Augusta Winery, Balducci Vineyards, Montelle Winery and Sugar Creek Winery will be providing their locally grown and produced wine for festival goers. A variety of beers will also be available at the bars to suit every taste. For the main course, jazz lovers can fill their plate with a delicious array of international cuisine.

In between meals and music, festival goers can shop with area artisans, who will share their painted wine glasses, jewelry, hand-blown glass products and unique canvas paintings. In addition, guests can browse area boutique Paper Dolls chic clothing and jewelry, smoke a cigar from Smoking Hot Cigars, and even create their own canvas at Pinot's Pallete's art booth. There will be plenty of opportunities for unique souvenirs from the festival. The evening will end with a grand fireworks display, making the event a great place to bring the entire family.
