Zydeco Crawdaddys

The joyous sound of New Orleans has come up river to St. Louis with the Zydeco Crawdaddys, a high energy group paying homage to the unique sound of the Bayou south. With the musical professionalism of ‘Big Chief’ Paul, ‘Bayou’ Mike, ‘Rascally’ Randy, ‘Mudbug’ Mike and ‘Hurricane’ Jimmy, the guys rock out to zydeco music, which is a fusion of blues and indigenous music of French Creole speakers. The Zydeco Crawdaddys encourage audience participation with rub boards and shaker cans, and play renditions of traditional New Orleans-style jazz numbers with many original compositions as well. No Mardi Gras party, crawfish boil, fair or festival is complete without the the Crescent City sound of the Zydeco Crawdaddys.
